Cultural Change through Regional Reform

Become a Sponsor

The Grace Hopper Regional Consortium (GHRC) expands the positive impact of the national Grace Hopper Celebration of Women in Computing (GHC) and the NCWIT Practices Summit to underserved, local, diversity-rich populations. The vision of the GHRC is to develop self-sustaining, regional communities using ACM-W regional conferences and ACM-W student chapters within each region.

By creating and expanding the number of regional celebrations for women in computing, diverse technical communities are formed to help recruit, retain and advance technical women in industry and academia.

The regional model works hard to keep costs low (most students pay approximately $25 to attend) and is funded by ACM-W, industry sponsorships, the National Science Foundation and other organizations.

Benefits of Becoming a GHRC Industry Sponsor:
  • Increase your visibility
  • Emphasize your commitment to diversity
  • Promote your organization's needs
  • Highlight your products and services
  • Influence and attract tomorrow's computing professionals
  • Strengthen ties to academia, share ideas, and foster collaboration
  • Provide opportunities for your technical women to mentor and network with their community
  • Recruit students, increasing the diversity and talent in your organization

We have combined sponsorship opportunities for all 2010 Regional Celebrations. Please select the type of sponsorship level for each regional you prefer or print the pdf brochure.
